I sit way to much. So much so that my body is really beginning to hurt. I don’t eat healthy. And that’s unacceptable to me now.
Funny how as we age, our priorities change. When I started this blog, I thought I would have much more willpower to lose weight if I started a video blog on Youtube. But even that didn’t work.
This month, I’ll turn 52. I don’t feel like I should feel as old as I do right now. My foods mainly consist of highly processed breads and pasta, as well as higher fat meats like pork sausage. Sausage gravy over biscuits is one of my favorite foods and I imagine it will continue to be that way.
I already know myself well enough to know that I may be starting this plan over and over, but I’m really committed to doing this.
I want to make this a 15 week plan. Back about 20 years ago, I signed up for a plan from the Quick Weight Loss Centers. I don’t know if they are even in existence now, but I still have the plan and it did work for me. I didn’t care for their supplements though, because they were so full of fake ingredients. So instead, I’ll be substituting things that will give me much better nutrition, such as bone broth drinks.
Today, I weighed in at 221 pounds. This makes me very sad. I’m hoping to go down and visit my dad at the end of April. They have never seen me NOT FAT. I don’t want that anymore.
I have a very busy life with my businesses so instead of actually making this into anything special, I’ll be using this blog to track my daily progress, what I’m doing and eating as well as anything else health related.
I’m not worried about this being here for anyone but me, but if you are here reading this, hello and welcome. Maybe we can be friends and my journey can inspire someone else to not wait until they are in their 50’s before taking action.
With that said, what I am doing are things that I’ve learned or read about that can help with my weight loss and health. For example, I did a coffee enema this morning. It will most likely be something I do at least a couple of times a week because of the reported health benefits.
The coffee enemas are more about health than weight loss, but I’ve heard they will help with both.
As I check in daily, I may only just record my weight and other things about my health. Not all posts will be long and written out but this also serves somewhat as a diary for me to track progress, emotions, setbacks and anything else that I want to just toss out here.

I forgot to take measurements or do the BMI testing. I’ll do that tomorrow along with measuring all the other parts of the body.
I’ve eaten breakfast and I’m already hungry. It’s not even 11 a.m.
